Welcome to Tendring Community Energy

We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of Tendring Community Energy, a Community Benefit Society dedicated to bringing renewable energy solutions to our local area.

Our mission is to develop and manage renewable energy projects that directly benefit the people of Tendring Peninsula, Essex. By working together as a community, we can reduce energy costs, cut carbon emissions, and build a more sustainable future for generations to come.

As a Community Benefit Society, any surplus income we generate will be reinvested into local projects and community initiatives, not private profit. This means every kilowatt of renewable energy we produce creates value that stays right here in Tendring.

In the coming months, we’ll be hosting community meetings, launching our first solar projects, and providing educational resources to help residents and businesses reduce their energy costs and carbon footprint.

We invite you to join us on this exciting journey. Together, we can make Tendring a leader in community-owned renewable energy.
